    ... something like a 16 meter drop over the distance between the two) and the guns set up for the salute on Canada day, but not much more.

    The second day I hit the Biodome, which was the Velodrome for the Montreal Olympics, but which has been converted into an - ecosystem display - of the five major biomes that you find in Canada.

    Note to Jen: There were turtles (as well as Tortoises) there ... oh deer!

    Today we visited Montreal. I won't belabor other than to say that Notre Dame Basilica is the second most beautiful non-Orthodox church I have ever seen in my life; far better than its Parisian cousin. Its location is in the centre of downtown Montreal, and its imposing facade dominates the central square of the city. It is, however, nothing compared to the glorious interior.

    ... of experience in filming already. The two of us went to high school together and I actually made my first film with him. He was happy to help me with the project this time around in South America. The two of us are leaving together from Montreal.

    ... something to cook for dinner and shared some spaghetti which was nice. Then made our way down to another lake about 20 mins walk away to see the fireworks and some live music as it was the national holiday for Québec.     We disembark the Veendam around 8:50 AM taking only about 10 minutes to find our luggage, go through customs and head down to the waiting taxi's. We get into the taxi and head to the Montreal Airport in lots of time to go through Delta check in, security and the gate to take us to the JFK airport in New York.
