      ... stopped at the Louisiana border, I was talking to the ladies when they told me that I10 was stopped in both directions at mm50 because of an overturned truck in the median with suspected toxic chemicals.       ... became clear, there was no seat liner because everyone gets a fresh room. WOW. It is rated as the number one bathroom stop in the country for a reason. They also have a huge selection of BBQ and homemade jerky. I'm still not sold on jerked poultry though; goes against my upbringing. (There is a joke in there somewhere, but I'm too tired to find it).       ... Keno from 5 - 9; truckers stop for there regular bowl of gumbo and people were friendly. The chicken sausage gumbo was tasty and Darren had a platter of seafood and then some. Grilled catfish, softshell crab, oysters, frog legs, shrimp, baked potato and seafood etouffe.

      We topped the evening off toasting Mom with Whitehouse ice cream. Vanilla and marchino cherries - it was good! Thanks Mom!!!

      ... to mention, the highlight of pulling into the hotel....Chris and Kallen spotted the biggest John Deere store I've ever seen and it's within walking distance. Now I know why they both told me we should take a fitness walk tomorrow. Oh boy......Thank you Washington Alaska Make a Wish for giving our Son this amazing opportunity.
