Nothing is perfect

... need to get an alarm system and then worry about it long distance. The Venetian Falls place. Beautiful inside, much newer than the other places we looked at, being sold furnished, lovely grounds, across the street from a beautiful club house and pool. Lots of activities, very low HOA fees BUT there is nothing special about it - no view except plants out the back. No Florida feel other than it would be warm and sunny. We made a stop at the Texas Tower and walked around it. This was the same spot where on August 1, 1966, Charles Whitman shot and killed several students and faculty. It is hard to believe that something so terrible happened in this serene location. You get a wonderful view of the Capitol building from the tower. Next we visited ...

Today we had a very exciting day; we went to De Soto national park and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. We went to the National Park first. It was about a 1 hour drive to get there. On the way there was a sign that said to go the opposite direction that the GPS was telling us. We went the way the sign told us to go, we ...
