      ... and Anita...I saw a glint in Anita's eyes. We gave her an award for "Truck Driver of the Year" last year and we could see that she was challenged by the idea of driving a motorhome. Since she drove into Manhatten last year by herself with a U-Haul, I suspect she would really be good!

      ... Alabama, away from any Union force and to discourage them from running away.

      Life as they knew it was pretty rosy, then on 29th November about 25,000 federal troops raced past the house trying to get to Nashville before the Confederates. The area just south of the town of Franklin was a perfect place for the Union troops to defend so they dug in. They were positioned about 1 mile North of the house.

      ... in Nashville was one of our most expensive hotels yet ($150 per night) to stay in downtown. We were so glad we forked out the extra money because it was sub-zero temperatures again, and we didn't want to have to walk or catch the bus too far to do anything.

      We walked to the Johnny Cash museum and spent hours there. Loved it. We stopped in various bars to listen to local bands. It was good, but because it was so cold ...

      ... Lenny and myself, Elaine decided to stop by. The beer was fine, the cover band was okay but the moves were amazing. We thought it best to end on a high note, called it an evening and headed back to Brianna’s.
      Our late Friday night was followed up with a late and very slow start to our Saturday. We decided a greasy meal that included a fried component was the best course of action. Luckily Lenny knew just the place, The Pharmacy it was. ...
