    ... foreign lands together. It’s gonna be tough, but the good kind of tough! That leads to growth as a human being.

    I feel that over the last few weeks the trip is more real and tangible to me than ever before . We are beginning to take real steps towards actually leaving our native country and traveling abroad, that is so very exciting and at the same time so very frighting!

    As I sit and write this we leave Nashville in 20 ...

    ... regrets. I knew this was the last major stop on our vacation and I wasn’t ready to go home and be reunited with what ailed me. I also should have bought the Music City package and saved $15 on my tickets, but I could live through that mistake. Hopefully my borrowed time will allow an opportunity to revisit Nashville in the future and spend an evening checking out the Nashville night scene or visiting The Hermitage. If not, this is still one more checkmark on my bucket ...

    ... house when the Federal Army used it as their headquarters. The battle didn't last more than a day, and the family hunkered down in the lower level and survived, except for one of the young son's who died from wounds in the battle. When you look a the pictures, you will see pictures of the bullet holes in the house.
