... was hovering between 95 and 100 F (35-38C for Europhiles) and every traffic light went red. And these are air cooled bikes which means that they radiate a lot of heat. It is fair to say that we were hot!! Just as well summer ended last week.

... it was 3:30 and we wanted to watch the USA soccer (football) game at 4:00. We found a Buffalo Wild Wings right off the exit, so we were happy until the USA lost.

Tomorrow morning we will complete the final leg to Blacksburg.

... They were about to start the process to create a one-of-a-kind vase. Every step was shown and explained in great detail. We were quite close and could feel the heat of the ovens. In the studio shop we purchased two wine glasses and two shot glasses.
Tomorrow we head for Charleston, the capital of W.V., in pursuit of people interested in a 35 star US flag.
