    We were privileged today to be able to introduce Macy and Anna to a legendary restaurant and one of Eric’s favorites. The Waffle House! Anna had cheese grits and hash browns, and Macy had a chocolate chip waffle. Macy has declared it her new favorite breakfast spot. She has her sights set high!

    ... creeped us out a bit because there weren’t any lights anywhere.

    Anyway, the Rushville show was at a fairground lot also, we were finally on grass, and there was a Goodwill store walkable from the lot. All in all, a pretty perfect arrangement. There are houses bordering the fairgrounds and I kept wandering what it would be like to step out on your back porch and see tigers not 50 feet away from you.

    ... bumpy highway, huge potholes which gave my dishes a good test. Only lost one wine glass so I guess I packed things pretty well. I stopped at one rest stop which was also falling apart. Headed through the center of Indianapolis and then south on I-65 for forty miles. Made it to the Columbus Woods-N-Waters Campground by 5:15 pm EDT, a total of 430 miles on the road. Checked ...
