    ... weatherboard two story homes set in shady avenues, just like the movies portray. Some were on larger allotments with manicured lawns and gardens set back from the road. Others were more smaller city type allotments with the houses almost sharing a common wall. Still, they too, for the most part, showcased manicured lawns and gardens.     In Youngstown Ohio. 690 miles today another 11 hours in saddle. Chicago is just nasty period. I heard a poll before we left on trip that NJ was top state that if it went away no one would mind, I really think it should be Illlinois! The only thing is they have a Sweet Tomatoes!!!!     ... session at the local community gym. This is an exercise routine using the stationery gym bike. A bit different to my gym routines back home, but a really good experience. The gym is totally funded by the community, although they do charge a range of membership fees to cover the everyday running costs. Seems like the fees are on a par with Australian gyms.     That was it for today's excitement; tomorrow is the big event of the weekend: we're taking a ride on an excursion train pulled by the NKP765, a fully restored steam engine. Should be fun!
