... an attempt to warm my poor, neglected finger bones. The Brooklyn Promenade was Baltic, to use the phrase from back home. Even on such a cold day and still fairly early morning, Brooklyn Bridge was thronging with slow-moving sightseers. It took me a while to settle into the arrhythmic pace of the bewildered herd due to the long prongs of selfie sticks jutting every which way and the irritated cyclists frantically ringing bells to make the crowds scatter. For once, I decided to walk ...

    A Long Day of Traveling

... Switzerland from the window- and it was BEAUTIFUL. The mountains were so pretty, and were covered in snow. Next to the mountains were patchwork-patterned fields that were lightly dusted with snow. The deck is surrounded by a glass safety barrier which made photography difficult, however if you climb up two more floors, you can view the city without the glass barrier and with far fewer people. Glad I climbed up to get the shots below.

The place is quite huge for one to sit and eat and Hausa variety of options. I chose the usual make your own salad but this time chose a cardboard box just for change. Liked the food-cooked well and also tasted ...

We awoke to a nice sunny and warm morning. Had breakfast and decided to do the Uptown Loop on the Tour Bus. The starting point for this bus was 8th avenue and 48th street. A short walk of about 7 blocks. In Manhattan, the streets are short blocks apart (20 blocks equals one mile, however the avenues are long blocks, 6 avenues equal one mile). On the first half of the Uptown Loop we will proceed north on 8th avenue, 9th avenue, Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway ...
