... the Chelsea Market but the storm clouds were brewing and it had started to rain. I had left without enough clothing and no umbrella. Feeling a little bit off and with an ever increasing swollen left ankle headed home. I can't work out if it's jet lag or I'm just not well.... So thought I'd have a nap and try to recalibrate.... Once awake again, I headed out to the local restaurants, where Time Out mag had suggested three within walking distance that were ...

Did that and got front row seats on the new bus. What had started as a pleasant day weather wise had turned into a ...

Turns out that this may have been a bad idea. I had wanted to go to 230 on 5th which is a rooftop cocktail bar, but the thought of going back to the apartment to shower and change, then schlepping back into Midtown is not an appealing one. We decide instead to go back, rest up a bit, then have ...

      12 hours in New York

A travel blog entry by b_btravel on Jul 22, 2014

So, last night we flew from Rio to New York touching down at 6am. Luckily for us we were flying with America Airlines. Their recent track record certainly doesn't fill you with optimism that's for sure. Anyway we made it to New York safe and sound and ...
