... building where George Washington was sworn in as President. Our final destination was the Century 21 department store. It is the biggest clearance store for clothing and homewares I've seen. The prices for clothes are ridiculous. For example, I was able to get a gorgeous Calvin Klein dress for $30 and psychedelic palazzo pants by Zac and Rachel for $10. This was our first really Freezing day, VERY cold. We went downtown to the ...

The coloured sections are than further split into corrals from A-F. I'm in corral C. I have time to wait in line for the toilet than head to my section, the third wave is still filling out of the corrals at this point so I start to get myself ready. We are finally let in and I finish getting ready, trousers finally come ...

... went in search if something more upbeat. As we always do we got talking to some locals on our walk, who happened to be musicians, and they pointed across the road to jazz bars. We went to one called "55" and the was told the was a $10 cover charge. We baulked at that and he let us in for nothing. The jazz was very good. We stayed for what they call a set - the music between breaks - and in that time had a couple of Bailey's. Also the tip jar goes around at these places for ...
