Didn't make it in time to explore the canyon but I didn't want to just go home either. Time to camp out for the night at my favorite hotel. Yay for free breakfast.

... that they will not make us check our bags, and be a little more lenient with the "pushing the limit" sizes we are bringing.
We are driving to Toronto this coming Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, so hoping the traffic at the border isn't crazy backed up!
More to follow soon ....
... on I-80 Pennsyvania was pretty. We had thought we might go to the Litle League Hall of Fame- but decided to just drive on. Andrew wouldn't appreciate it and we would have to wait until they opened. Also, with the time to get there and see it, we would be leaving pretty late and we still have quite a long way to go to be home. Oh well- on we go.
Williamsport, Pennsylvania, United States mernmb... because there are several interesting things to do in the area. As it turned out we could easily have spent a week or more there, I think we may well return next time we are in the area especially since it’s only a couple of hours north of NY city which we would like to go back to and it's on the rail route in.
We are in the Hudson valley, yes the Hudson River where that plane ‘landed’ safely earlier this year. Our campsite is very pleasant ...
... the time i just try look away. avoid eye contact - that's the key! as a matter of fact, my ears are still ringing and i'm pretty sure we yelled the whole ride home as we talked to each other just because we couldn't hear ourselves. i'm about ready to crash and sleep down here in the basement where there is no sense of passing time until the late hours of the morning/early hours of the afternoon. sounds ...
Montgomery, Pennsylvania, United States hannahandbrianwoah!! it's winter! so we made it home safe and sound(just to reassure all of you dedicated, worried readers out there) and to tell you the truth...i'd rather be riding and sleeping in a tent. oh man is it so much more simple- well not that we don't have simple lives as of now, but our lives on the road were so much more interesting really. so as part as our infiltration back into society, we sleep in, sit ...
Montgomery, Pennsylvania, United States hannahandbrian... London paperwork, all that jazz, and brian and I have been getting everything ready for the bike tour! we have our panniers packed and soon our bikes will be boxed up and we'll be on our way. Another leg of the journey is complete, we're off to brian's for a few days tonight and then we'll be on the open road again, just this time we'll be with our bikes!
Montgomery, Pennsylvania, United States hannahandbrian... Hall, the original Congress Hall and the Old City Hall. Doing all of this worked up a good appetite so we had to get a Philly Cheesesteak. We went to the home of the Cheesesteak, Geno's. There are actually two places that claim to have the best cheeseteaks. Geno's and Pat's. They are directly across from each other so we decide to get one from each and see what we thought. Although they were both very good, after careful consideration, both Jason and I ...
Sunbury, Pennsylvania, United States ridewithjoe... later that we got a flat tire and were trying to explain to AAA where the heck we were on 75. They eventually found us and changed the tire, and then we headed to the next town to get not one...but two new tires. Brian and I took short naps and filled up on dum dum lollypops before leaving the garage and we were on our way again after only losing somewhere ...

Williamsport, Pennsylvania, United States cipo... with stand carrying around a 50 bag for 7 months. We spent almost the entire day in the house, working on resumes, looking for jobs, and looking for somewhere warm to go. My brother was smart, he left on Friday for a cruise in the Caribbean. We called Bart's mom to tell her we would be up to shovel when it slows down, by the time that happened, kids already knocked on her down to see if they could shovel the snow ...
