Merry Christmas
Christmas was spent this year at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Boynton Beach. Vera, Rusty and I plus 5 kids had an exciting morning with waaayyyyy too many gifts. Cousin Saskia, Ski and Kurt joined us for lunch.
A few days earlier we visited Santa's Enchanted Forest, which the kids as you might imagine enjoyed tremendously.

Sea Turtle, shells, and Palm Beach
... eat icecream so we stopped at a place with Dreyers. Again we just took pictures and walked around and left to catch our flight. The airport is surprisingly close to the Boardwalk.. should be about 5-minute drive excluding the time to get gas for the rental car.
The Boardwalk beach wasn't too pretty on that day. It was windy and cloudy. I'm sure it would look much nicer on a sunny day.

Home to a quiet night. Weather has turned a bit cooler and rainy. Turns out BET concert was in the afternoon, so we missed all the craziness. Oh well, so much for trying to participate in something a bit more hip (hop).

Road Trip, Wendys and a Storm
... is wrapped in plastic wrap (including the headboard above our bed), and the seats around the bar area, to create a retro 60's looks. The bar is small but funky and this is where we will get our free breakfast.
We relax after the trip, at which point a heavy thunderstorm starts. We deet up and head out to watch the storm from our front door, the rain pummels down and the sky growls menacingly. Its all very spectacular.
We head out a bit later and into town ...
