    ... 5200 miles. Upon reaching Washington state, they had to turn around due to the thick smoke. Glad I am heading East away from the fires. Lake Michigan is next on the agenda. I am keeping an eye on the tropical storm heading towards Florida. That would not be a good welcome home event. I keep hearing the song 'Live like you were dying'.     ... and planes performing like a parade for everyone to see. There were low wings and high wings and bi-planes and even ultra-lights in this formation. We had arrived in the middle of this grand event. Oh, if only I had known, we would have stayed a day or two, but at this point, we knew there was no room at the inn. But I can say, at least, that I was there in 2015. Smile. And the word for today is PLANES.
