The first week of September our son, daughter-in-law (Zac and Rebecca) and year old granddaughter (Annie) will be joining us in Nancy for a few days. Annie's first trip,

Then we will be heading south to Colman, Chamois, Lyon and then over to the Dordogne area - then up to the Loire Valley, Normandy and back to Paris for a few days,

Want to record this trip - and this is easier than keeping handwritten journals.

... go with the flow throughout. This made me feel as though we were superheroes. It helps that Zac and I have always been this way, we don't follow the norm of you have to be home promptly for naptime or bedtime, meals aren't always planned and sometimes stuff just happens to throw everything off, we make sure Annie's happy but in turn make sure she joins our life not vice versa. I think France will definitely be a test but wouldn't have it any other way. Here's to ...

This picture is one of my favorites. Susan, the teacher at the Kawaida preschool, loves these little ones so much, and my heart was touched by her caring, humble heart. I want so much for these children to have a future, and plan to do whatever I can to help. ... There were cornfields - you know like out of those horror movies or that alien movie called Circles. It was really hard to find a radio station that wasn't "country". We saw loads of geese but still no deer. As it's Halloween tonight, I'm dressed in head to toe black - cute dress and heels.
