Next stop on 66 was Elk City, OK. They have a Route 66 museum. It looked nice but we didn't have time to stop. But it was fun to take a picture with the huge sign.
About an hour down the road was Clinton, OK. They have a really nice Route 66 museum as well and across the street is the Tradewinds Hotel. It is a little rough around the edges ...
