We had a great dinner last night with Tom, Gractia and the two kids in Dayton Ohio. We stopped for a break at the Alan Shepherd Museum. There were nice displays and the original movie of the moon landing. I remembered waking up my kids who were 1 and 2 at the time to get up and watch it live. I doubt that they remember it.
There was a display of all the astronauts that came from Ohio. There were a lot, probably more than any other state.
Here we are in Dayton. Every other mile in Ohio is being dug up or paved, but we had zero hold-ups, just lots of hairy, narrow lanes at 65 mph & hundreds of 16-wheelers movin' the USA economy along. Tonight we 'll dine with some calm dignity (we hope) .... a Japanese restaurant right across the road from the motel.
