We arrive in Tampico tired and get a taxi out to a hotel that no longer exists. Our taxi driver suggests another which is undergoing building work, and we end up at the beach front where half the hotels are stupidy expensive towers of sanity, or grimy part-time brothels. I negotiated a good price for a good hotel in Tampico and we crashed into our nice king sized bed, after a 487 kilometer ride. ...
