... we went to Harvard & MIT to witness a real University (if anyone from work reads this, I'm joking).
We took a tour from a current Harvard student who was pretty funny and interesting, however did prove that the higher the IQ the lower the common sense as she insisted on walking backwards during the tour and unsurprisingly walked into a post...twice.
Overall Harvard had a very impressive campus with quite a big presence, big gates ...

... of the day walking the streets of Bwoston. A town not dissimilar to Sydney in real estate and restaurant prices. A world away from Texas! They have lobster here.......and no melted cheese or anything deep fried! Next stop Washington! We meet up with Sondra to cheer her on in the marathon. Nice day off today pounding the streets of Boston. Got on one of the tour buses and had a good look around the city. Some of the places were still shut from the ******** government shut down. This city is chocca with history. I learnt loads about the revolution and the guys that made it happen.
Ate lots of the local fayre including New England ...

Last stop today was dinner at Cheers. Not the original door front. They've watered it down to various locations around town. I felt a little guilty being there. Hunger won...no hungry kids won.
