... and caught a ride to the station. Once there, I printed my ticket and sat down to wait. And wait. And wait.
The train ended up being almost an hour late, but once boarding began, things went pretty quickly. Instead of sitting in an actual seat this time, I decided to instead snag a booth in the dining cart. This turned out to be a good move, as being at a table allowed me to type much easier than sitting in the seats does.

If it wasn't winter, we presume the exercise park we stumbled on would also be busy. We called in on Fenway Park, home to Boston Red Sox, the House of Blues, Back Bay, Boston Common which is pretty at night and culminating with a Basket ball game, glad to rest some pretty sore feet.

... a quick snack on the way and got to the street festival in plenty of time for him to play. The weather was perfect and it was lovely sitting on the grass and listening to the music.
Left there about 5pm and walked back to the hotel, went out looking at the shops and for dinner and then back again. Was in bed by 8.30pm.
... morning making a bit of a racket in the corridor outside my room, but still got close to six hours sleep in a very comfortable bed. Long day of bus travel tomorrow, all the way from Boston to Fredericton in Nova Scotia, a distance of 687 km, or about six and a half hours of driving. I've just left Canada and now I'm going back again! It's going to take most of the day, but thankfully the rest of the trip will have much shorter travel times and more time to sight see.
