Today was free day with no organised trips so we could have a sleep in, however we still woke up at 0545. There is a subway station located user the basement of the statehouse! Boston's blue line is the second oldest subway line in the US and the oldest line in the US is Boston's green line! I wish I had known that when I was riding it! Contrary to what you might think this subway line under the State House has benefitted it ...
... to find out that it was a huge ice hockey stadium. The Boston College Eagles, Boston College’s ice hockey team, was playing a match against another regional team, and the stadium was packed! People of all ages came to support the Eagles while eating their pizzas or pretzels and drinking their diet cokes. The Boston College band played jazzy versions of temporary pop songs by Adele, One Direction and Katy Perry throughout the game and the audience would burst ...
