... our air conditioning is not working and we're now waiting for the repairman to arrive. Our "bug guy" just left, leaving behind some small bait traps to get rid us of the phantom ants that like our bathroom sinks.

We also quickly reconnected with friends, dining or meeting for drinks with many of them during the week. It been a lovely warm return for us.

And while I still look for the flush button on the top of the toilet and try to bag my own groceries in the store, European ways ...

... to find some handwritten notes from Tina who looked after the house for us, as well as our Swedish friends Christer and Pillan and our English friends Paul and Maggie who visited while we were away. There were even a few packages that Deb brought in from the doorstep for us!

Today we traveled south to Venice. Great weather in the low 80's and sunny and I was craving a beach, shelling and SUN!!! Water was comfortable. Lots of shells collected. On a side note regarding shells, I had to stop at TJ Max on the way home to get a nice container to put all the shells in. Will include a picture of that later on. ... April. One thing I found there that I had been looking for was a hanging plant rooter!! I had been looking for one for awhile so was happy to find one there in a craft booth!
