    Today we headed to the Beach at Siesta Keys, I'm not a particular fan of flat white beaches where the only thing to do is swim around in a flat sea, then sitting around on a beach getting sand in everywhere and boiling alive. (which means funnily enough I actually prefer going to the beach in Britain, where there are waves, cliffs and its absolutely freezing) And I wasn't hugely impressed that was exactly how it turned out. ...

    ... bases loaded and no outs), the threshers brought in a new pitcher that shut them down. Walking back we stopped of at a restaurant for something to eat but after some hot dogs, all I felt like were some fries. Naturally alcoholic beverages were consumed by those that could drink them, (much to the despair of those who couldn't) and we settled down to sleep for an oddly haunt free night.

    ... and the Intracoastal
    Waterway.

    The entrance sign says it is
    certified as a "Blue Wave" beach by the Clean Beaches Council. Not sure exactly what this means but it was a different beach than many of the others in that it was more natural and certainly more rugged.

    Heavy surf, lots of sandpipers and ring necked gulls. We plan to stop again and maybe try to find a shark tooth or two.
