... being surrounded by fruits and veggies I think the kids just ended up eating hotdogs that night. Brooke helped Corey out later with what to buy since there was such a large variety of produce to choose from. I tried my first loquat and it was incredible.

Unfortunately there wasn’t an rv park in Davis so we stayed about 20 minutes away in Vacaville at the Vineyard RV Park. It was a nice park, but we spent most of our time ...

... was torture in its highest form. Fortunately, I had paid for the extra legroom seat (US $50 each way for three additional inches of knee-room), so I wasn’t quite as cramped as the other economy fare passengers. Had ...

... narrow lanes, wall to wall traffic, guardrail that was mangled and stuck out into the lane. I did what every good motorhome driver does - I took my space from the middle line over. Cars are smaller, right? The trucks were another matter. Luckily, he was quick. Not what I had in mind when I said I wanted to do some driving. Finally got to exit 160, traffic went down to one lane, we took the off ramp ...

    Pairing wines with scenery

... especially during rush hour in the morning (between 6am – 9am). But most cars exit at Hollywood so it gets better after that. On the way, we got to drive around mountains and saw this awesome desert and (more) mountainous landscape surrounding the highway. Midway, there’s a canal of turquoise water contrasted with the yellow sandy landscape (or green plantations) – it feels almost like photoshopped scenery. Although the scenery can be quite majestic at times, ...
