Left Memphis this morning in the glorious sunshine although a little on the chilly side (47F). Not much to say on this day except that we basically drove clear across Arkansas. We planned to stop in a Flying J in Texarkana so just short of the city we pulled in, gassed up, got ourselves fed up and are heading out to the trailer to spend the night.

With the addition of the feather pieces, there’s been a reconfiguring of the prop truck yet again and John was told we’ll have to make some adjustments to his big props to make them pack smaller. ... part of our trip to Fredericksburg, TX tomorrow. We will attend Keith's military reunion for three days before heading toward San Diego on Friday morning. Then a whole week in our one-bedroom condo on Mission Beach. WooHoo!
Drake was so excited to go digging for diamonds. Turns out it is hard work and those sand pail shovels just don't cut it. We dug in about 4 different places. We also walked up and down the rows looking for sparkles. All of our "sparklies" turned out to be calcite. We also found some agate and jasper. Good thing we weren't counting on that to fund our ...
