... We looked out at the lake and it was really a sight to see the hail landing in the water and creating millions of splashes on the surface of the lake.

The hail only lasted for a couple minutes and then it started raining again. We finished our lunch and drove back toward the exit. We stopped to look at some of the signs that told what other things were in the area. As we went by the tents again, we wondered just how fun that must be to be tent camping ...

... could pick the lot you like and build the house of your dreams there. There were a few under construction as well.

Cheryl and I looked at one we really liked and we figure if we sell the Murrieta home we could just about pay for this one. ... again.

As they pulled out from the driveway last night, I wanted to cry. While I'm excited to make our way cross country there's another part of me that wants to stay home. Once again FaceTime will have to get us through!

We're headed back to the casa tomorrow and will be there just long enough to repack and hit the road by Monday afternoon. Sure gonna miss the cool pines of northern AZ.

We basically spent Tuesday getting settled into our "home away home". As I mentioned, this cabin is really awesome compared to the others we've rented up on the rim. The downstairs living room has a bar, pool table, air hockey, Wii with big screen TV and a Deer Hunter video game machine. The back porch is very inviting and has a swing the kids (big and little) absolutely love. Mornings and evenings ...
