... moving along the zip lines and walking across the challenge bridges kept us moving. Plus the two tour guides were pretty cool and entertaining.

We didn't get many pictures as the Mega folks didn't want any cameras brought in since if they dropped they couldn't be retrived and we'd be swinging across mostly dark areas inside. But I did get my I-phone in to snap a few shots, however it was too dark for much exposure. In the end, we conquered the "Mega Cavern".

... had set up huge speakers so that when the runners reached the race track, we heard the sounds of an announcer from a past Derby! Super cool!

Once I finished the race (and yes, it poured rain the entire time), we went for lunch. All in all, a great weekend and a fun race. I'm such a lucky girl to have my coach (Richard) with me for my 8th half marathon. I still can't believe that he's never missed one of my races (7 Marathons and 8 Halfs).

... tours we have been on. A mini-bus that seats 16 picks you up at your hotel, takes you to various sights in Louisville and the surrounding areas, and feeds you little samples of local treats. What fun!

We spent a very enjoyable afternoon with a bus full of fellow tourists, many of whom were running the same race I was (on Saturday). After the bus was full, we went immediately across the Ohio River and into Indiana. Our first stop was a 124-year-old ...
