    ... and by taking an on-site walking class of Ancient Roman Monuments (from which I can confidently say that I can take anybody on a tour of Ancient Rome).
    By living in Rome, I learned a sad amount of the Italian language, how to dangerously cross the road in the midst of afternoon traffic, the closest place to watch the sunset, which public transportation to take without having to purchase a ticket, and how easy it is to **** off any Italian... all important things to survive ...

    ... mountains. At the top they have a huge parking area where you have to park and take a shuttle van up to the actual summit.     This morning we left Smuggs. I have to tell you I didn't care for this town. Mom was fine with it and the advantage was the gorgeous Smuggler’s Notch but I wish I would have just paid the extra money and stayed in Stowe. It was raining slightly as we packed to leave.     ... Now we have a car, we can stop at will (well almost) and can enjoy our own lunch choice. Another dose of retail therapy too - Steph skipped the tablecloths and opted for new jeans, while I thought of next summer and bought a pair of shorts from Sears! Exciting stuff, eh?
