Old friends and new

... visiting. It's great to see an old friend with a great family, but it also makes you reflect. It was the first time I really got to play with and study a two year old. And now I know why they say an angel watches over all small children.
Erin and I have decided to make our visits more frequent in the future.

I cringe to see man made ponds, lakes, waterfalls and rivers in this desert decorate developments like baubles on a tree.
But when you know they've ...

We've arrived a bit early - the true snowbirds head south after Christmas - but all the same I have to have a plan and we will need reservations at most places.

We will be staying mostly at membership parks. ... Lauren ha the ipod playing. We also did coach introductions where you had to tell the coach about the person sitting net to you which was fun. We stayed at the Marriott which was great. Scottsdale is like the stereotypical cowboy/dessert town with seats made from old wagons and cactus's everywhere, felt almost like going back in time. Dinner was at a Greek restaurant where they were quick to get ...

Arizona in February

... me-Since I hadn't gotten him anything I handed one back to him and said Happy Valentines day - LOL. Still only 55 degrees, nice out but cool. Early afternoon we headed out to do a bit of urban caching and did several hard but satisfying ones. We did meet another cacher at one, helped him out, went with him to one we had just gotten, and then on to one we both wanted to try by a devious cacher we know. We spent a long time there getting nowhere, so finally called Fireman who ...

Day 18 - Arizona State Apache Junction

... Main st then called Apache Boulevard. If any person is contemplating doing what we are doing and wants to buy an RV then fly into Phoenix and drive down this road. I kid you not there are acres of them covering all shapes and sizes. Earnie spotted one price of a similar type to "the Castle" at around $15,000, as we passed, not a mean feat considering most do not display prices and the number along the road, it was amazing. Earnie reckons there is close to the same number of RV's in ...

After graduation I departed LA with some friends from the class to the beaches of San Diego. So much more pleasant that LA. After 5 days on the **** we launched ourselves back into yoga and have been taking and teaching classes along the road. Supporting each other when ever it was ...
