Pensacola... the show was good, the hotel was horrible.
For the record, Pensacola does not count as Florida. The panhandle is not Florida. I know Florida. Pensacola is Alabama light.
I couldn't even find a Publix nearby!
On to New Orleans!!!!!
:)
De camino hacia New Orleans, paramos a visitar dos Parques Nacionales, el Big Lagoon, uno de los mejores parques en la costa de los USA, y el Tarkiln Bayou Park, caracterizado por las raras especies de plantas como algunas carnivoras.

Well, Liz, Cathy and TJ had the margaritas. I stuck with Sprite for this one. TJ caught a few waves at the beach even though there was hardly anything to catch. Then we went back to Liz's where Cathy took control as chef. She and Liz made this awesome bruschetta ...
Navarre, Florida, United States faith.morgannot good news to report today. I left pensacola FL this morning bound for Miami. Fate had another plan in store...5 or six miles east on I-10 traffic stopped cold. Uuugh...i hate that. Stop and go traffic and no lane splitting makes me cranky. Each time i have to stop theres a high chance of me losing my balance and falling over. The next thing that happened was the state troopers directed everyone off at SR 90, which parallels I-10 but goes thru the little towns and has ...
Pensacola, Florida, United States 16states... rounding the top of hill after hill and there was NOTHING. This is HILL COUNTRY, people! Finally, I made it to Ozona TX and was able to fill up...now i know i can go more than 260 miles on one tank if I have to.
It was a long day of interstate riding; i got on at Fort Stockton TX and went all the way past the Astrodome. Its HUGE. When i got to my aunt and uncles, she insisted that I park my bike in their barn instead of the ...
... couldn’t get up to much......no bones or muscle structure you see, makes it hard to water-ski or bowl.
A factoid : An American Battleship was sunk off the coast of Pensacola to create a fake reef. It is affectionately called “The Great Carrier Reef” ....I like that.
The good weather couldn’t last forever. A massive storm hit us yesterday. It was truly gigantic. If that’s just a big storm I really cannot begin to comprehend what ...
Leeroy experienced a road trip U.S.A style 6:30am straight to the coach with a stop at Pensacola beach nice white sands e.t.c. for lunch & Avo...too bad there was a thunder storm warning so beach was closed for the afternoon so ended up a 8 hour straight drive.. the seas were angry that day my friends.
Pensacola, Florida, United States leeroy_jenkinsWell, this is where we called home until the economy crashed and took my business with it. But that gave us an opportunity and impetus to seek broader learning in Saigon. Of all the places we've lived this is at the top. On the bay, with a yard, dog....the American dream. Quiet town living, safety, low cost of living, only the occasional hurricane. It is a good place. We miss our friends and will return.
Milton, Florida, United States ricketts... campus. This town is totally old schooll with clear class divisions between the haves and have-nots. One thing I didn't mention is that Louisiana allows gambling throughout the state, and you see casinos everywhere. I saw a giant paddle wheel boat on the Mississippi and it turned out to be a casino! I passed through Alabama and Mississippi in ...

A few piccies of things: Firstly a picture of the Blue Angels which is on the hotel lobby wall. Then our "mid-sized" and now very, very full car Then the vehicle I'm looking to hire next.
