    ... pulled pork and bbq sauce with traditional sushi elements. Anyway, we had a lot of food and it was all really good and very reasonably priced. Liked it a lot and would certainly eat there again. Thanks to Danny and Heather for taking us.
    We caught up on Danny's travels in Europe this summer after he had left us and it sounded as if he had had an amazing time. He's off to New Zealand next year now which will be fun to follow with a few other trips ...

    ... we both downloaded the free Universal app to our phones. This app tells us the wait times for the rides we choose, we can set an alert to tell us stuff like "the wait time for the Simpson ride is 20 minutes" instead of 30 minutes. It also has a "Guide Me" feature to help you find the ride or area you are looking for; shows you where the bathrooms are and provides a screen to record your parking space. It is also a huge battery drain! ...

    ... stands awaiting those wishing to travel to Hogsmeade and Hogwarts on the Islands of Adventure side of the park, and Grimmauld Place stands complete with Kreacher appearing intermittently at the window. In between the two is a brick wall with archways through which you cannot see anything but more brickwork, but if you walk through and around you find a full, perfectly imagined Diagon Alley.     ... we headed to Harry Potter and Diagon Alley. With much hype around this area we were interested to see it. We have to say it was pretty cool. The attention to detail was great and the shops were just like in the movie with lots of animatronics in the windows. We were expecting a huge crowd but as the weather had turned grey and drizzly the crowd wasn’t too bad and we only had a 10 minute wait for the Escape from Gringotts ride (no fast pass here).     ... and joined my 15 minutes later saying the kids were fast asleep. It was after all 9pm! The show was great. The performer was a grammy nominated artist called Caroline Malachai. She was lovely and funny and reminded us both of Tom's sister Nicole. She was a mix of Soul and R&B.
