I've especially loved these days of just the five of us after spending the past two weeks constantly with other people. I must admit I'm also craving some time alone, but I'm sure that will be upon me all too soon, so I soak up all of this time with the kids. Of course this is the main pleasure for us - having their thoughts, observations and general chatter available on-tap... Even if they still fight about who gets to sit next to ...

So, despite our great day disappearing in a pool of vomit there were still lots of positives. Chef Mickeys was still as good as we remember and nothing beats a Mickey Waffle, the kindness and service of the staff we met today was stunning and thanks to them my sick kids will get to experience those Mickey Waffles too.
