... maybe the nursery would have a vending machine or something where I could purchase a drink. I knocked on the door and some teenagers came out. We left a little after 11am and were heading to Orem (South of Salt Lake City, Utah) for the night, not a real lot to report on the ride, we were mainly on Interstates so covered the distance in a fairly quick time and got to the hotel around ...

... places. You pay tourist prices too. If I were to do this again, I would put myself around the outskirts rather than right in the middle of the city. Prices are better, less tourists, more authentic food choices. I also understand why the US does business better than some of these European countries. Spain still has the "siesta," the mid-day nap. The city is a ghost-town for the three hours in the middle of each day! Look ...

... the Van....Jane met up with us at El Lago restaurant just as we finished eating, she wasn't so hungry so she got in the van and we drove the remaining 16 miles to a nice LaQuinta Hotel in Orem....It was about 6pm when we got there. Katy took a swim and Jane and I got our showers and did some emails and my blog.

Tomorrow we are off to Fruitland and change in the itinerary. We are a day ahead at this time but things cam always change.
