Up early, and on the road out of Salt Lake City, through lovely mountains and valleys and our first stop was at Bear Lake.....only for photos, but then we had quite a long drive along the edge of the lake, which is enormous. Only thing missing was Uncle Paul, Uncle Joey and their families. Maddy was on a mission so she was excused. A pot of Grandma's spanish rice and a few lumpias wouldn't have been bad.
