He maintained and repaired the coach, pumped gallons upon gallons of fuel, set-up & took down the coach umpteen times, waited patiently for me while I would wander through gift shops, and always kissed me goodnight. He was my perfect companion. I am eternally grateful that he Blessed me with this trip and I am also Blessed to have shared this adventure with him. He's a God Thing!

August 7th, Trip Day minus 1;
Well, after many months of preparation we leave on our summer adventure first thing tomorrow morning. Hopefully I can keep this blog interesting enough to get you all to keep coming back. As you'll quickly find out, Mary and I love food so this blog will more than likely gravitate to our food adventures. ... Two years?" you may ask... yes two years. In the last number of presidencies the president of the US had two years control of both congress and the office. Than you can do things, but as soon as you lose the majority of votes in the congress, you are crippled and can't do what you want to do. And than the new elections are coming up so the 4th year of a term are spend campaining to be re-elected.

... s but no sauce again! This route has us skirting St. Petersburg before heading north so Marty saw Tampa, St. Pete's and Clearwater all in one day.
It was great to see the water again and the associated plants, birds, fish etc. I hadn't realized how much I missed the pelicans!
Of course we indulged in some shrimp and some Grouper for dinner and it wasn't long before we were all ready for bed - just when the Beach was coming to life big time I'm sure!
