... so I spend the night mostly on the floor. On a positive note - Jonathan didn't snore and the floor was warm :-/ A critter was making a noise in the bushes last night. I kept still and finally got scared, so woke-up Jonathan who shone a torch to see who it was. We didn't get a look....I wonder what it was? Probably a raccoon. I still haven't seen one and Jonathan has seen two. And I still haven't seen a bear or a mountain lion either - thankfully, neither has ...

Had a lazy morning and took our time getting ready, but heading for Florida. We both could have stayed longer in Nashville for sure as there was so much good music playing every night and it has such a good vibe. Hit the road and enjoyed the trees and hills. In Alabama we noticed that the price for petrol had ...

It was just my type of beach as I hate getting into cold water. We enjoyed swimming each day knowing that from here we basically leave the coast behind. The camping ground at Fort Pickens has close to 200 sites in two different areas. The camp was full for the week-end and by Sunday night there ...

After a grueling five days of driving, it was time to find a nice campground and hang out for a few days. My plan was to stay at the state park on the beach near Destin. But the polar vortex spoiled things, so I found an RV park near Pensacola instead. The temperatures were in the 30's at night, and although it was only in the 50's during the day, at least it was sunny! I enjoyed a walk on the beautiful beach and a couple fantastic sunsets over the ...

Woohoo! We made it to Matt's cousins place. Having a blast just hanging out. We arrived at the fabulous abode of Jason and Julie's at about 5 pm. The first two to greet us were Julie and William. Hugh and him clicked instantly! William showed us his crazy group of chicken friends in the backyard. And the boys chased them around catching them. Soon after Jason and Mr. Oliver arrived. Mr. Oliver is a character. Loved hanging out ...
