... and African drums (yeah!) Around 5pm the fog started rolling in and was threattening to leap over the ridge, but held out for another half an hour. All of a sudden the temperature dropped and the fog started pouring over the mountain range so Kev and I fled to a bar a few blocks away called Amnesia. They were having a Jazz festival there and watched some fantastic music and singers all night long until our stomaches got the better of us.

We arrived in San Francisco after driving both ways over the golden gate bridge, Ive never done so many U turns in my life. There are great views of the city from the other side of the bridge, and great views of the bridge from the parks that rise almost vertically from the hilly streets around the Haight Ashbury part of town.
