Here we are getting ready for our Dorval Meet and Greet held at Place Tevere in Dorval. This is a gathering of folks who all now live or have lived in Dorval at some time. it was a luncheon and we all came together - about 55 folks altogether - for a get together to talk about Dorval and share memories of the good old days in Dorval. Everyone introduced themselves and advised where they went ...

The streets were so loud, neither of us got any sleep (okay, maybe an hour or two at most). When the crowds of drunken tourists finally subsided, out came the street cleaners to go about their business! FML! Oh, and out last meal in Italy? Sooooo not good! Hitchhiking would be a more welcome option. :-) I can see the sun setting out our window as we continue our journey westward. According to the sky map we are now over the Denver area. Seems like a good time for some shut eye. I will post another update once we arrive at the Hilton tonight in Santa Ana. Signing off for now....as turbulence is getting a bit bumpy as we pass over the Rocky Mountains. Mike the weary ...

I finally succeeded to arrive in Melbourne. It was a quite long way to get there. Let's start with the beginning. Thursday morning, everything was set so we hit the road for Montréal, which is a three-hour drive to get there. I took the plane before but never alone. I followed the indications and guess what? I completely forgot to get a visa and I can’t go to Australia without a visa. Fortunately, they could get me one at the airport. So ...
