    ... and look more horrible for my audition the next day. He started sticking them bandaids on me, but I think he was totally regretting once he started as their were way too many. He ended up sticking more than 37 bandaids on me. Fun times! We had such a good laugh!     ... to get to a restaurant. After dinner, we grabbed groceries and came back for a quick swim and into bed early tonight. The hotel has a great fire pit with comfy chairs next to the pool. I could have stayed there for hours.
    Redondo Beach is just a little south of LAX and the city proper, but it is a quieter middle class area, with a great beach that seems to get more day use, rather than night life.

Consequently, the San Luis Obispo Coast District catchments, which shared water with the Hearst Ranch, were down to one third of normal capacity, not nearly enough to carry the Castle thru the summer. The Castle's outdoor Neptune Pool, which was leaking 5000 gallons of water a day thru several cracks, was closed for repairs.     ... had two huge pythons... And I'm not talking ***** or arms, I mean ******* huge snakes. The performer was talking about how it wasn't the most dangerous thing because we weren't from Australia and without thinking I piped up 'I am!'.     So, we finally come to the end of this episode of Elephant's travels and this blog is simply to tie up some loose ends as we head back to an Australian summer and some more mundane tasks.
