Today I had a day off. The weather is again glorious. Strange to think this is mid winter as it must have been 25 degrees today. Farm Sanctuary provides a grocery store trip for all interns to stock up on vegan foods each week and this week it was planned for today. This was ideal as I wanted to see if I could get an old bike so that I could ride to the nearest Metro station which is several miles away - too far to walk. This would allow me to travel further afield on my days off. ...
... since leaving Ohio, so we went to Angus Steakhouse and I ate and we shared a bit of wine. .It wasn't a terribly busy day, didn't see a lot of sights but I was extremely satisfied with the day. Being with Daniel, regardless of the circumstance or what we saw or didn't see, it was an extremely good day for me. It actually felt good to get in the car by myself and just wander off too. I can't get over seeing mountains all around me. Absolutely awesome.
... and as I result I am better for it. On a side note, I had a few spanish sessions with a private tutor before I left for my trip and it paid off big time. If you are considering long term travel, I highly recommend doing the same as it makes everything easier when you land, and if you do attend a Spanish school you will have a headstart.

to 68 in 5 minutes, and the rain poured down like a smooth waterfall on

We camped in a spot very similar to Walmart, paved RV spot ,level, not fancy, but water, sewer and electricity. No cable TV or internet. But we can survive for one night. There is a motorcross track about 500 metres from the campground which kep us entertained until dark. Thank goodness for ...
