... the displays felt a little sparse for a national museum.

I made short stops at the Hirschhorn Museum, Smithsonian Castle, Museum of African Art, and Sackler Museum of Asian Art, all of which I visited before, and steered clear of the incredibly popular Air and Space Museum, with a long line of people waiting outside in the rain just to get through bag check. Today we woke up and it was so cold, first day we had to pull out our beanies! We walked about 5 minutes down the road and found a diner to have a nice warm breakfast before we started our day. We were walking towards the museums and saw police cars everywhere and blocked roads and asked one of the officers what was going on and he told us it was their annual St Patricks day parade, it was after we asked we started to see green appear ...

... 65 all up. Simply because we were near New York city. Ended up a beaut RV Park at Riversdale Farm near New Haven, Connecticut, near the Hammonasset State Park.
On our way to Seaforth RV Park at Mystic, Connecticut, we stopped off at the beach at Clinton on Long Island Sound, Connecticut to take a look at the Atlantic Ocean, and got to watch some beach fishermen for a while. Very impressed by the 80 year old man who caught himself a 9lb ...
