We had a great group meeting and journaling session tonight and we are SO ready for a great day tomorrow! Dehning, Winter, and I taped all the doors shut. Ms. Winter told the kids it is a technique the FBI uses :-)! It is genius though... We also have a personal security guard in the hall so I don't have to sleep outside their doors! We slept in and did the washing and didn't leave the house until about 12 o'clock. Before we left we rode a 2 seater push bike for fun, but Dad wouldn't get off with me!! We went to the train station to book tickets as we are planning on taking the train from Washington to Charlotte tomorrow. We then moved on to the Abraham Lincoln memorial. ...

... etc. It was very interesting....wish I could have asked them what they were doing and where they lived. I am sure there are many many condos and apartments in DC just can't recognize them with all the other Government Buildings.

We made on the Metro sometime after 7pm and on the freeway to home by 8pm. I was very glad to get back to base and off those freeways....they have crazy drivers here!
