    ... a bus tour to Newport Beach where we had supper at a nice beachfront restaurant, walked around the area for about an hour then got on a three decker catamaran to be part of the 103rd Annual Christmas Parade of Boats.     ... with my best friend Praynka and I actually found something to buy, which is rare. I got the hottest dress for new years eve. Later that night we met up with our other good friend Camile at Red Robin, my all time favorite restaurant. The next day was Christmas Eve and we had my dad's side of the family over.     ... through a mass of cholla cacti and one out to a large rock arch.. We then drove on through the centre of the park to a longer hike at 29 Palm Oasis. The 3 mile hike was up over a small hill to a beautiful oasis in the middle of a large dry desert area. By the time we started the hike the wind had come up and it was like hiking through a gale. But it was worth it as the Oasis was, well and oasis in the middle of the desert.

    ... the aisle - I'm gushing, sorry, but it really was a lovely day! Congrats guys!

    The reception was held at a nearby golf club & Steve's brother, Jonathan, entertained us with an excellent 'best man's' speech. Although, I'm not sure his dry, British sense of humour was fully appreciated by the mostly American audience... Steve's family & the U.K. crowd however were in pieces, it was hilarious!
