    ... br> January 6: The weather continues to be gorgeous. We picked up Larry and Shirley at Pechange RV Resort and drove over to Faulkner winery. We did our wine tasting with Fred who had many stories to tell us about Temecula. Next door is a great restaurant, Pinnacle, where we had a wonderful lunch with a great view of the valley.

    ... had a BBQ burger at Carl's Jr managing to catch the latest episode of Inbetweeners using Wi-Fi from the nearby Starbucks. Arrived at the car park of Redondo Pier and had a quick walk round, it is a very popular fishing area with hundreds sat on the edge of the pier and many stalls selling fresh fish and crabs, very different to the image portrayed in the OC.

    Had an early night sleep in the car so I could wake up early and make the most of my last day ...

    Another gorgeous day in Retirement Land.

    Well, what else am I going to call Palm Springs? The land of golf carts, gas powered wheel chairs, gray hairs, and Viagra.

    My Aunt is amazing. She believes and has faith in God and her Angels. She came to Palm Springs without reserving a condo unit. Condos are about as easy to find empty this time of year as a bar on Super Bowl Sunday. NOT!
