We got to Bentsen to the beautiful sounds of Border Patrol helicopters (if you don't know...Bentsen sits right on the Rio Grande and is a hot spot of illegal crossings). We barely got to the visitor center when we found CLAY-COLORED THRUSH, BUFF-BELLIED HUMMINGBIRD, and OLIVE SPARROW. down the pike, and that was just last weekend. This is a huge event carrying on
for 9 days and including a giant midway. Now, Mexicans love a midway and they
are all out to treat their kids to a ride, and gorge down on the booths and
