Weekend Getaway- Planned.
So we've been trying to run away on a weekend adventure for about a month now. Of course I have been wide open in terms of planning and being able to go, however, my travel friends have been struggling to get shifts covered at work that would allow them to run away for a weekend! We have planned this trip and cancelled it 3 times now. Now, ironically, we are going and we didn't even plan on this weekend! Funny how things work out.

Friday night at a private campground in Duluth, Minnesota. All the campgrounds on the North Shore of Lake Superior were full! Yikes that was our destination. This is actually an ok place with showers and laundry ` and delicious wine we brought from Oregon.

Saturday around noon, after a very lazy morning, we left for Duluth; a four hour drive. We got detoured by driving up to Porcupine Mountains State Park on the shores of Lake Superior where we did a little hiking. Finally ended up in Duluth around eight.
