... got worse overnight...first he had shaking chills, and just couldn't get warm, and then, before he could get to sleep, he started burning up with the highest fever I've ever felt. Of course, we were in a hotel, so no thermometer...all I could do was give him some Tylenol, and he finally went to sleep for a few hours. When he woke up again, he was still hot, but a couple of Motrin helped his stomach pain, and helped lower ...

We bought a truck to carry the camper today! It needs a little work, but seems basically strong. Once we get it travel-ready, we need to go to Arizona to pick up the camper.

In other news today, we also decided to rent out our house (rather than selling), and selected a property management company.

The Chisholm Trail is still easy to locate..... there are markers all along the Interstates showing us the way [JK]. We find it most interesting to allow this 'cattle drive fantasy' to show us some back roads that we would not usually travel. Small towns, local cowboys, and fine little saloons with cold beers! Sure would be nice if I could sit next to some cowpolk and swap stories; he with his chuckwagon and me ...

Well, we're finally here!! Landed in Dallas this afternoon after a stop over in LA. Took us about 4 hours to sort out the rental car pick up, and our new phones.
