    The Seventh Day (Denver)

... It was really cold but we saw some squirrels. We came back had some leftovers for lunch and drove to the lake to do some ice fishing. We walked out on the ice, being careful not to slip. Then we sat on a bucket while Chris or Dad drilled holes in the ice in front of us. We set up our rods and fished. Every child was able to catch at least one ...

But he was wrong :-) On Kyushu we will stay 2 ...

Hopefully podcasts and new music will keep me occupied. I set out my suitcase and put all of the most important things in first: tri shorts, top, goggles, thermal cap. Then everything else. I'm ready. All I need to do now is wait for time to pass. Tonight ...

... Two bike boxes carrying one standard touring bike (mine) and one brand new, spiffy, collapsible baby blue Co-motion tandem bike for the folks.
    2) Two gigantic roller duffel bags packed to the splitting point; weighing in at 65 lbs each.
    3) 1-2 carry on bags per person.

Let me remind you...we are hauling all of our own "stuff". We were trying to stay around 20-25 lbs per person... we did ...
