          The Sixth Day (Denver)

A travel blog entry by isabellerose13 on Dec 24, 2013

We woke up and went upstairs to have some really nice pancakes for breakfast. Then Dad, Chris and I went to Jax and then the lab. Jax was a outdoors store which sold fishing gear and bait which is what we needed to get. Then we went to the university where Chris worked at to feed some of his ...

Had booked a tour for a boat trip of Chicago's history and architecture at 9am. It went for 90 mins and was well worth it. Got to hear and see heaps of great buildings. ... make the same round trip by car as we did in 1975.... This time the rental car has a GPS system with spoken directions in English. In 1975 we had a Japanese roadmap that also showed the city names in English and that was it. The rental car employee who delivered the car to our hotel in 1975 said with a smile when he handed us the keys: "tomorrow you bring car back" - he didn't think we would be able to make the road trip. But he was wrong :-) On Kyushu we will stay 2 ...

We finished the day off at Vitale restaurant. I was really looking forward to having a heart to heart with Tucker but he bailed on dinner because his bible study ran late and he had too much homework - ...
