... get those in Johannesburg. One amusing event occurred, the check-in agent told me she could only check my suitcase as far as Atlanta, not all the way to Dallas, because they didn't have an arrangement with Delta, and because I would have to collect my suitcase at the first port of entry to pass customs.

I told her that she could check the bag to Dallas and that all passengers would have to claim their bags in Atlanta, ...

From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. She may be too young to remember all this, but hopefully all of these pictures will be fun to look at later! Thanks so much to everyone for being a part of Addy's first birthday at home!!

My first piece of travel advice was to have credit cards for California not debit cards. My next piece of advice is this .. don't expect to find a hotel room for less than $160 in the oilfields of Texas. I tried pulling off at Pecos but found either full hotels or ones charging $100+ for a regular room. A huge thanks goes out to Senor Lee for being my logistics man and providing me with hotel phone numbers for places down the road. ...

    Day with Andy

A travel blog entry by walshfamily on Mar 13, 2013

On that day I spent the whole day with Andy. We went to Main Event, the hall, where we went to three years ago for Tom's and Bev's anninversary, where we played laser tag. We spent there 4 hour to bow, play pool and laser tag with Andy's sister Alli and her friend Tory. We had a lot of fun doing this. After we were done, we went ...
