... day, however Aunt Carol and Uncle Roger were very patient and not annoyed with me at all. As usual, Jonathan found everything very amazing :-/ I was sad to leave and they gave us hugs and waved goodbye with sweet little Poochie. There were so many breakfast options to choose from - and then I had to choose the style of eggs (thought I ...

We have learned a great deal about rugby and Gaelic football!!! It is insane here when it comes to these sports.

Maybe the only way these children will ever see an elephant or a giraffe is by visiting a zoo. So when zoos are as good as this they should be applauded and supported all the way.

Well done Columbus Zoo, and thank you John for sharing it with us. Your passion shines through and you have given us an experience we will never forget :-)

... whilst we were staying with them so unfortunately we didn't get to see much of Maryline but John had a bit more flexibility in his job as a lawyer and was able to take a fair bit of time off to spend with us which was great.

The first morning he was looking forward to showing Bryan the local pool at the University. So they were up and out before 6am. Bryan did say it was a great pool it's just a problem having to turn around every 50 metres!
