... it was surprisingly edible - although maybe our metabolisms were all confused after being subject to the cold conditions. The ordering process is always entertaining when every order requires numerous clarifying questions - "How do you want your eggs: scrambled, poached, fried, over medium, over easy?" and "Do you want toast with that? We also visited downtown Muscatine and stopped by a store on Second Street, the Candle Shed Effect. We had a great visit with Piper Smith Beason, but missed seeing a high school classmate Sharon Ric******* Wilson. I've never seen a store like this, with lots ...

... the insane amounts of food.

Just before 6pm we found ourselves a nice spot close to the stage to watch 'Ribmania', the rib eating competition. What trip to America is complete without watching one of these?! Whoever could eat the most amount of ribs in 8minutes won $2000. The defending champion, Miki Sudo won the contest eating 4.8 pounds! She is one of the top ranked competitive female eaters in the world. It was pretty disgusting to ...
