    ... Thai curries, Korean barbecue, sushi in Japan...but I think I will skip the Vegemite sandwiches in Australia! I tasted it once and it took a long time for that taste to leave my mouth!
    Our latest trip related purchases have been a Belkin mini surge protector which can take three appliances and also has two USB ports. Way cool. We also picked up a couple of those battery backup ...

    ... counselors. I am excited to see all the beautiful sights Sicily has to offer. Lastly, I am a little exhausted from all this traveling and planes. It really takes it out of you!     ... drive everywhere in the US from now on like every other sane person here does. Visited the busy downtown area and then on a a local shopping mall. Eventually found a store with prepaid debit cards so I could activate my data sim for the iPad. Had a cheap dinner of roast chicken and salad purchased from the supermarket.     ... Americans butcher their meats differently than Americans and they prepare it the "gaucho" (cowboy) way - on an open flame rotisserie. The butchering is more time-consuming, but the meat is more tender, and whatever they do to prepare it for their customers makes it incredibly tasty.

    We left Fogo de Chao with a protein hangover, picked up our clothing, and watched the Olympics! Go USA.
