I will be keeping this page up for all of the small things I will be doing in next couple of months. I find that writing about my experiences helps keep them clear in my memory. It's also fun to see how my blogging has evolved from the start to now.
It's time to pack up my life at my parents' house and move to Virginia. The next chapter is about to start.
Today we left Poughkeepsie for Philadelphia, via Milford, a historic town and in which the cemetery of which my Great, Great.....Grandfather General Daniel Brodhead is buried. The town of Milford was absolutely beautiful, soemthing I did not expect, with a very French influence. Many french bakeries and beautiful old homes. A visit to the old bookshop was rewarding as we found more books for our Nicholas and then on to the cemetery. ...
Last travel blog, We arrived home safe and a little tired about 1 o'clock. Return home in 2 1/2 days two of the days being about 700 miles each and today was about 350 miles. Got to the Port Authority and met up with Craig and Tola... got our tickets (not before a smoothie from Jamba Juice, nom) and boarded the bus to Stroudsburg.
We arrived at Stroudsburg and got an awesome welcome, with hugs and excitement from Kendreia and Davia (counselors from last year)... Uncle Craig (the Camp Director) was lovely and took us out for a delicious dinner.... Stuffed, tired and worn ...
