We have a cold day today but a short one. We need to make Portland Maine so Carolyn can fly home. We stop at a state park called Battle Mountain and pay $9 entrance fee to take a 2 mile road up to the top. The view is of Penobscot Bay. It is colder on top with the wind than when we are on the bike. We are using our electric jackets to keep warm. We make a stop at the LL Bean super store for a few small purchases. The leaves started to turn in Ernest in New ...

We took the 9:45PM shuttle bus back to Gorham and retired for the night. It was a great night from start to ...

    Intro to Tour

Hadlock Field in Portland Maine is where I chose to take a trip to. As you enter Portland it is hard to miss Hadlock field, home of the Portland Seadogs. The lights can be seen from blocks away and while driving by the big slugger mascot is perched in front of the famous stadium. There is a large selection of parking surrounding the stadium. The parking is around ...

... are we all queuing for?"

"The best god darned Lobster Rolls in all of Maine!" exclaimed a George W lookalike!

And so the hour wait began with our new queue friends Bright (George.W) his wife Randy and another couple called Chet and Bonnie...how American are those names! Both couples were celebrating milestone anniversaries respectively and deemed 'Red's Easts' the best ...
