Spent brief time at Traveler's Rest, a camp for Lewis and Clark before and after they crossed Lolo Pass.

... suggested we check out site 32 on top of the "mountain". This was the nicest campsite we have ever had in all our years camping! 360 views of the area and beautiful views of Snake River. The temperature was absolutely perfect mid seventies, no humidity and NO BUGS!!!!!!! A nice bbq dinner, an adult beverage (ok, maybe 2) and sleeping with all the windows open, PRICELESS!!!!!!

After spending not too much money (but coming back with a lot of bags!) we went back to the hotel to repack our cases for the next ...

... been digging for trilobites for 30 years. He got that hobby maybe the last time he washed his clothes! Trilobites were marine invertebrates, one of the first forms of life on Earth long before the dinosaurs. We found so many! Elena and Ariana had a great time. The couple taking care of the business told us about the different types, origin and they cut the stone and polished the trilobites so we could take ...
