    ... and Tatsu (a bigger and faster Air from Alton Towers) and finally we head for X2 expected the 90 minute queue with aching feet and tired limbs but get there and it's only 30 minutes BOOM!! Go me!! And it was worth the wait.... The seats are terrifyingly reminiscent of stirrups (not the fun horse riding kind the lady doctor kind!!) and then you tilted back (starting to wonder what kind of ride this is!!). Then you pull off backwards (WTF!) and climb ...

    ... to see Diane's niece, and she recommend the Hilton Garden Inn. Fabulous rooms, and we each got a pint of Red Velvet ice cream with bowl and spoon, from the lobby, to take to our rooms for "dinner".

    My legs are killing me! We walked A LOT today, and saw a lot, and now I can cross "see Hollywood" off my bucket-list! Thanks to "Hollywood Darryl" for being our tour guide, and Diane for being the chauffer!

    ... departure, not a slow roll out of the station.

    A couple more rides and last look at the gift shop, it was then time to call it a day. Six Flags was awesome, incredible, well worth the 6 week wait. We then headed back to Santa Monica Pier for our dinner. We saved the best till last, good ol' Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Watching the sunset over Santa Monica Beach was a perfect way to end our amazing holiday.
