Flying out of DFW at 1:10 pm on one of those cute little American Eagle planes. The flight was really bumpy and very uncomfortable, but the pilots evidently stayed awake because although we left 15 min. late, we arrived 5 min. early. Love those tail winds!!!

It's a long a arduous drive, but it's okay, because I always keep a health pack and camping gear in my car, just in case I get attack by rabid armadillos or if I can't find a hostel to stay in on the way.

Since I've been in Denton, I've had only a few activities that take me outside of my house. During the day everyone goes to work, and I'm spending lots of time at home with my dogs by myself.

Offically started the treck. Do a couple of easy ones first.

Started with Dallas County. The old courthouse is now the "Old Red Courthouse Museum". Then up to the newest courthouse in Texas which is the Collin County Courthouse in McKinney. Proceeded then over to Denton and take photos of the Denton County Courthouse.

... for children. So that's that. I am going on a budget like most of you, so I don't plan any trips anytime soon.--certainly nothing this big. I still haven't gotten that picture of Marie posted, but when I get my desktop computer out of the shop I'll get that up. I have been in touch with Marie and also Mike and Pauline, who are both recuperating from surgery--and they'd better hurry up because they're headed to Antarctica next month!
