... was a very different weekend; much quieter, but still an opportunity to reacquaint myself with beach football, wave surfing, tennis, swimming pool 'head the ball' (which hurt!), basketball and some lounging in the Pacific shade. I don't do this sort of thing. Maybe I do.

Breakfast at the Comfort Suites hotel buffet, probably the last hotel breakfast for awhile. Today we drive into the care and feeding of friends and family. The plan is to drive across Alligator Alley to Dave Cooper and Nancy Terrell's new home in Cape Coral, spend the night and continue up the west coast to Barb's parents home in Bradenton, Florida.

... At $4.60 a dozen , I thought "that's me". Well those 12 oysters sloshed with lemon juice, disappeared in a wink, so I ordered another 12.... - 2 dozen raw oysters ALL to myself!!!!! what luxury.
Ken enjoyed Escargot (snails) . Our food just about on a par with the Rabbit Paella in Spain. Back to Venice for a live show at the Venice theatre.
