    We went to the rental station, inquired about SUP and how it is for first-timers. Eric asked about the alligators. The answer was: They're so lazy they won't move and in 30 years they haven't attacked a tourist.

    ... be rectified tomorrow). Today has continued yesterday's leisurely theme, but perhaps with more beer. We haven't done much, but, hey, I'm on holiday and that's a good thing. I'm loving having no plans and just seeing what comes next when it comes along. Sanibel Island should be our brunch venue for tomorrow, but let's wait and see what tomorrow brings when we get to it.     ... was a very different weekend; much quieter, but still an opportunity to reacquaint myself with beach football, wave surfing, tennis, swimming pool 'head the ball' (which hurt!), basketball and some lounging in the Pacific shade. I don't do this sort of thing. Maybe I do.

    The weekend in Nosara would have been perfect had it not been for the mosquitoes. I was bitten so many times on Saturday night and I'm still feeling the consequences now with my legs itching ...

    Breakfast at the Comfort Suites hotel buffet, probably the last hotel breakfast for awhile. Today we drive into the care and feeding of friends and family. The plan is to drive across Alligator Alley to Dave Cooper and Nancy Terrell's new home in Cape Coral, spend the night and continue up the west coast to Barb's parents home in Bradenton, Florida.

    ... At $4.60 a dozen , I thought "that's me". Well those 12 oysters sloshed with lemon juice, disappeared in a wink, so I ordered another 12.... - 2 dozen raw oysters ALL to myself!!!!! what luxury.
    Ken enjoyed Escargot (snails) . Our food just about on a par with the Rabbit Paella in Spain. Back to Venice for a live show at the Venice theatre.

    Family day out ....Saturday and we had booked 'groupon tickets on line' (half price) for the Babcock wilderness ...
