We asked where was best to stay, considering there were 3 hotels surrounding us and in full view, but he said he could get us a discount if we wanted to stay a little further up the road about 2 miles away.     6:30 am start hopefully to beat the wind and any storms coming through later. Glad to see the last of Oklahoma. Stopped in Rolla, MO. So far we've missed the rain.     The Aussie was with us but then we lost him, thinking that he had gone for fuel.

    We went to Wezzy's Roadhouse in Hamel for lunch which was interesting.
