    ... to St. Louis or from St. Louis to Nashville (Springfield).  To be frank, what we could see of it from I-70 was about the same, once you got past the billboards. Our reservation for Nashville was actually in the town of Springfield, TN twenty-two miles away.     Once we left, we were all pretty drunk, and extremely happy at the way the evening had panned out. We went to another couple of bars on Broadway, where I realised that paying for drinks is not quite as fun as getting them for free. With another coach journey on the horizon, I said farewell to new friends at around 2:30am, and headed back to the hostel.

The strip is littered with venues on both sides of Broadway all proclaiming to be the city's finest live music bar venue on music row.     ... the bluebird cafe at some point so we decided to go and give Steve his first drive of the trip. I was ******** myself. He only confessed towards the end that he has no motorway experience and no city driving experience, oh and has never driven on the opposite side of the road!
